Objective:

VLSI Design Conference 2025 will be held from Jan 4th to Jan 8th, 2025, in Bengaluru. The organizing committee will host an Industry Forum as a part of the conference. The purpose of this forum is to invite speakers to talk about the latest developments from their organizations to a wider audience comprising industry leaders, technologists, academia and enthusiasts.

The session will enable a peer-to-peer platform to discuss, discover, define and dissipate knowledge on the industry roadmap.

The Industry Forum will also serve as a platform for academia to gain insights into new areas for research and career opportunities. It is proposed to host the Industry Forum on 6th and 7th Jan 2025. The presentation in the forum will be in person in Bangalore at the same venue as the conference.

Exact dates and timings will be announced on the conference website shortly. A panel discussion or a fireside chat involving experts is also planned during the forum, details of which will be announced later.

Process


Interested companies are required to submit a proposal containing Name/Brief Bio of Speaker along with topic/abstract of presentation by Friday, Nov 1st , 2024. Proposal to be submitted by sending an email to:

It would be helpful to highlight the connection of the abstract to the conference theme and the overall endeavor of the VLSI Industry towards Responsible Research & Innovation. Start-up companies will be supported who can connect to “Make in India” theme of Government of India.


Broadly the topics would be:

New industry trends including but not limited to:

  • Edge computing solutions
  • Cloud computing
  • Yield enhancement in the era of planner v/s 3D transistors
  • HBM
  • 3D packaging


India’s Domestic consumption of electronics and solutions around it:

  • Railways/Roadway
  • Agriculture
  • Electric grid
  • Surveillance
  • Different applications of Drone technology

Presentation / Participation:

The forum will have a slot of 20 minutes for each presentation followed by 5 min of Q&A. Slots would be spread over two days to minimize the conflict with technical tracks in the conference. Only abstract will appear in conference proceedings. Since the forum is part of VLSID 2025 program, there is no additional registration required.
